Al-Marsad newspaper: The tweets circulated a video clip of a dialogue session within the Misk Global Forum attended by Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and how he responded to a young Saudi woman who asked him to adopt her for a greater future.
The energy minister said: “I have faith, pride and pride in having a system that adopts you better than me.”
The prince directed his speech to the girl, saying: “My daughter does not depend on people. I rely on sustainable institutional work. No one should be honored, proud or happy that I have created this and that, and if I leave, this great fortress will collapse.”
And he continued: “The important thing is to build sustainable institutions, not to build institutions with you that will succeed and fail without you. This is the pinnacle of narcissism that we must all abandon.”
