The Attorney General’s Office announced that opened an investigation into alleged sexual abuse and mistreatment suffered by a dog named Fiona, in events that occurred in the Baranoa municipality in the Atlantic.
This Friday, through social networks, citizens notified the authorities through a video, where a elderly person performing sexual acts with the canine.

In this sense, the Atlantic Police announced that personnel attached to the Environmental and Ecological Group rescued the dog, which apparently had been beaten and abused by man.
The uniformed officers managed to locate her in street condition in the company of other canines and, subsequently, she was brought to the possible owners thanks to the information provided by the population.
Upon arriving at the residence of these people, who would be those who provide protection and care for this animal, they were informed that Fiona would be transferred to a veterinary center for review.
This Saturday the animal was taken to the city of Barranquilla, where it was evaluated by means of medical examinations to determine any possible injury. However, according to the preliminary veterinary report, it is it is highly unlikely that he was subjected to sexual violence, due to his advanced age.

The Prosecutor’s Office announced that a investigation against the person who appears in the video and who is accused of carrying out these abuses, in order to establish the degree of responsibility for their actions and that in this way, respond criminally to the competent authorities.
