Seriously injured in collision with tractor »NOKZEIT

Mudau. (ot) A 63-year-old driver was seriously injured in an accident Wednesday morning shortly after 6am on the country road between Scheidental and Mudau.

The Opel driver was about to overtake a tractor when his 39-year-old driver tried to turn left. The vehicles collided, causing the Opel to push into the left ditch.

The impact was so severe that the Opel driver had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries. The accident probably resulted in a total loss of over 100,000 euros on both the tractor and the car.

In addition to the police and the rescue service, the Mudau fire brigade and the road maintenance department were also involved in the accident.
