There was a serious traffic accident in Mözen on Tuesday (June 27th, 2023). A cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries.
According to the current status of the investigation, a 61-year-old driver from the Segeberg district was driving her car on district road 18 in the direction of B 432 at 5:30 p.m. When turning into the road “An der B 432”, the accident occurred for reasons that are still unclear a collision with a 76-year-old cyclist who was traveling with her e-bike on the cycle path of federal highway 432 from Leezen towards Bad Segeberg.
The 76-year-old fell on her e-bike and suffered life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The traffic accident is being processed by the police in Leezen. The investigators are now looking for witnesses who observed the accident or who can provide relevant information about what happened.
