Giuliani Suspended from Radio Channel WABC for Election Lies: New York Times

Giuliani, known as the former mayor of New York and the lawyer of Donald Trump, has been temporarily suspended from the radio channel WABC, the owner of the channel John Catsimatidis reports to New York Times.

Giuliani himself writes that he was fired from the channel.

The reason is that Giuliani will again lie about the election in 2020 live on the radio.

– We warned him once. We warned him twice. And I got a text from him last night and I got a text from him this morning that refuses not to talk about it. So he didn’t give me a choice. I stopped him, said Catsmatidis to the newspaper.

Giuliani seems to strongly agree with the decision and stops at Catsmatidis and the X radio channel.

– This directive is a clear violation of freedom of expression, he writes.

Claiming, implying or implying that the 2020 election results are not valid is a violation of company policy, according to Catsmatidis.

Giuliani says he was not told about this rule.

– I have regularly commented on the 2020 election for 3.5 years, and I have been talking about the Georgia issue continuously ever since the decision. Obviously, I was never told of such a policy, and even if there was one, it was broken so often that it couldn’t be taken seriously, he writes.

In December, Giuliani became ordered to pay $148 million for improper charges against election officials in Georgia. The amount is equal to just over NOK 1.5 billion. He was also ordered to pay $32 million for defamation.
