In 2019 Croteam started the Serious Sam Incubator project, in order to try new formulas with the well-known hero. And one of the games that came out of this was Serious Sam: Tormental.
Since it was only a proof of concept, the game was marketed as an Early Access title on Steam, where it was regularly updated with new content. Which brings us to this news: Serious Sam: Tormental says goodbye to Early Access.
With a new update, the 1.0 version is reached and a lot of new content is also added. You can think of a new area called The Fortress, Elite variants of existing enemies and Torments, special runs with predetermined weapons, powers and conditions, each with their own leaderboards. In addition, this update also introduces new weapons, perks, powers, quests, music and even a new character to play with. So even if you’ve already completed Tormental, there’s plenty of news to see!
