Second deadly shooting in four days on US university campus

One person has been killed and seven injured in a shooting incident on the campus of Grambling State University in the US state of Louisiana. Wednesday was also a shooting with a fatality. The Louisiana Police Department believes there is no connection between the two incidents.

The university, which is home to nearly 5,000 students, plans to restrict campus access, the board chairman tells CNN. Non-students, among others, will be less able to enter the field in the future.

There are no students among the fatalities. Most of the injured also did not study at university.

For Wednesday’s shooting incident, the police have a suspect in mind, 18-haired Jatavious Carroll, nicknamed ‘Rabbit’. He is still missing.
