The embassy stated in a statement: A reference to what was circulated by some media outlets and a number of handlers on the “X” platform regarding a female student in a school in the city of Chicago being subjected to a verbal and physical assault with racist motives, and what was indicated was that the victim was a “Saudi citizen.”
Saudi citizen
She added: It is stated that following up on the matter by the Embassy and Consulate General in Houston and communicating with the relevant American authorities, no information was found indicating that the victim is a Saudi citizen, and that no reports were received from the embassy or consulate about any female citizen being assaulted in the incident referred to.
Security and safety
She continued: The Embassy and Consulate General will continue to follow up on the matter to verify the facts related to the incident, and the Embassy affirms its concern for the security and safety of citizens, male and female, in all American territories.
