Samsung presented its new personal assistant Ballie during the tech fair CES. It is a small ball-shaped robot that helps the user in the household.
Among other things, Ballie can patrol the house and serve as a remote control for smart devices. The ball also works as a fitness assistant with its users.
During a demonstration on the stage of Samsung it was shown how Ballie recognizes his owner via a built-in camera. The robot can then follow him or her through the house.
Many details about Ballie were not disclosed. For example, it is unclear when the device should appear and at what price. A picture during the keynote showed that the ball will be available in five colors.
