Samsung extends the payback period for its newest foldable phone to 100 days. That is, the buyer Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G and Z Flip 5G can buy and use it for more than three months, then return it for a full refund if you don’t buy it.
Samsung said the ‘Buy and Try’ program was the first time it had launched such a low-cost return initiative for its cellphones. As for the previous return program, it was only valid for 15 days.
“This new initiative will help consumers try and see if a foldable phone is right for them. This is part of Samsung’s commitment to making foldable devices more accessible to everyone,” “a Samsung spokesperson was quoted as saying. The Verge, Wednesday (24/1/2021).
Samsung said the program was launched February 23, 2021 for purchase Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G and Z Flip 5G are done via its website and will run until April 1, 2021.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G is technically the fourth in Samsung’s line of foldable phones and was released last fall as a much improved version of the first Galaxy Fold.
This device is priced at USD 1,999.99 although Samsung currently sells it for USD 1,499.9 on its website with a qualifying trade-in program.
While Galaxy Z Flip 5G is Samsung’s third foldable phone. After the discount, the phone now sells for USD 1,199.99, although Samsung also provides a trade-in program to make it up for USD 649.99.
