Samsung and LG Innotek temporarily close factories due to coronavirus | NOW

Samsung and LG Innotek have temporarily closed two factories in South Korea. Employees were found to be infected with the corona virus, reports Reuters.

It is about Samsung’s mobile phone factory in Gumi. That city is a source of concern for the corona virus in South Korea.

A small number of smartphones are produced in the factory, including the new Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy S20. The factory will probably open again on the night of Sunday to Monday (Dutch time).

An employee of LG Innotek also turned out to be infected. The affected factory, which produces camera modules for iPhones, is closed at least until Monday.
