Mayor Bert Bouwmeester of the municipality of Coevorden reported this during a press conference on Sunday afternoon. The man lives with a partner. The man is staying at home with flu-like symptoms. According to Ivar van Dijk, infectious disease control doctor GGD Drenthe, he is “reasonably well” with him. Several residents of Dalen approached by this newspaper say that the resident affected by the virus also comes from Brabant.
