Samsul, a man who kills a boy when his mother is raped, dies in detention

LANGSA, KOMPAS.com – Samsul (41), the man who raped a mother and killed a child who helped the victim, was found dead in police custody Langsa, Sunday (18/10/2020).

This man was previously arrested for the murder of R (9), a boy who helped his mother with the initials DA when Samsul was about to be raped.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Langsa Police Iptu Arief Sukmo Wibowo, by telephone, said that Samsul had died of shortness of breath.

“He complained of shortness of breath Saturday morning. His body temperature was 36.7 degrees, the tension was 97 percent and he was given an infusion for one night. He was treated at Langsa General Hospital, ”said Arief, Sunday.

After that, doctors allowed Samsul to return to the cell after being given an IV and given medical treatment.

Then on Saturday morning Samsul’s condition worsened and again experienced shortness of breath. The police, continued Arief, then took Samsul to the hospital.

“The doctor said he died. So, his body has been handed over to the family for burial, “concluded Arief.

Previously it was reported that Samsul broke into the DA’s hut in the middle of the night and raped the mother of two.

At the time of the incident, the victim’s husband was not at home because he was fishing.

The son, R, tries to help his mother fight the rapist. Later, the perpetrator killed R and his body was thrown into the river.
