Latvian motocross team “MX Moduls” after three stages of the World Motocross Championship in Latvia in a conversation with local athlete Kārlis Sabuli has expressed a desire to give the athlete the opportunity to participate in another stage of the most prestigious MXGP, after the last sixth conversation with journalists.

It has already been reported that Sabulis won the 20th place on Sunday, but Matisse Carro was in the 25th position in the fifth stage of the World Championship in motocross at the Golden Horse track – Ķegums “Grand Prix” – in the most prestigious MXGP class.
“I had ridden in the MX2 class before, as well as in the European Championship classification, but the MXGP class was something new for me. “The goal was to enter points on all trips, but you will not escape accidents.”
In the last stage in Ķegums – Ķegums “Grand Prix” – Sabulis was in the 16th position in the first race, but in the second race a good result was prevented by a collision at the start. In the last of the three stages of Latvia, Sabulis was ranked 20th overall.
“I think both myself and the supporters can be satisfied, because I spent five of the six races in points. A very good debut in the MXGP class,” says the motocross rider with a smile.

Maybe I thought a little more before the first stage, but I’ve been in this movement before, albeit in the lower MX2 class. Nor did the athlete deny that MXGP class competitions require a completely different form of sport from the rider. It was also the most difficult to get used to.

Although it has not looked so far in the future, there is a possibility that this year Sabula did not have the only MXGP class competition.
“I don’t look that far yet. We will continue to train and work. In two weeks there will be a stage in Latvia, so I don’t know when I will go to Germany again. Concerns about the course of the MXGP stages on the part of Sabelis are justified, as the motocross corridors say that the next stage in Turkey, as well as the four planned stages in Italy, will soon be canceled.
Sabulis in Ķegums was able to reach the 16th fastest time in two of the six races, but in the overall rating the highest position was won in the Riga “Grand Prix”, where he took the 18th place.
In the Latvian Grand Prix competition (the first stage in Ķegums) Sabulis was in the 22nd position, but in the last – Ķegums “Grand Prix” – he won the 20th place.
In the overall rating of the World Championship, Sabulis was able to score 16 points in three stages, which allows him to take the 24th position among 36 riders. Ten more points were saved in the first two stages of the season Paul Jonass, which can be found two places above.
On the Kegums track in Latvia, three consecutive stages of the International Motorsport Federation (FIM) Motocross World Championship took place. On Sunday, Ķegums “Grand Prix” was the final of three competitions, which were held in Latvia in one week. Previously, from August 8 to 9 and from 11 to 12 August, two MXGP competitions were held in Ķegums – the Latvian “Grand Prix” and the Riga “Grand Prix”.
The victory of the Latvian “Grand Prix” was won by the Dutchman Glens Koldenhofs, the fastest in the Riga Grand Prix was Kairoli, while the victory of Ķegums “Grand Prix” was celebrated by Jeffrey Herlings.
The MXGP World Motocross Championship returned to the track in Ķegums over the weekend after a five-month break. At the beginning of March, only two stages took place – the “Grand Prix” of Great Britain and the Netherlands.
The stage of the World Championship on the “Golden Horse” track took place for the 13th time.
The next stage of the MXGP will take place on September 6 in Turkey, followed by four stages in Italy.
