According to the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsbund (RMV), the following lines are affected by the closures from the end of April to the beginning of May:

• Line S1: On some nights, the journey from Offenbach Ostbahnhof will be diverted at 3.53 a.m. via Offenbach Hauptbahnhof and Frankfurt Südbahnhof. There are no stops in the tunnel section.
• Line S2: The stops between Offenbach Ostbahnhof and Frankfurt Central Station omitted. Line S1 can be used as a substitute. There is a replacement bus for the last trip of the day.
• Lines S3, S4, S5: Lines S4 and S5 do not run between Frankfurt Südbahnhof and Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. On the S3 line, these stops are only omitted for a single journey, so that the S3 can be used as a substitute.
• Line S6: There are no stops between Frankfurt Südbahnhof and Frankfurt Westbahnhof. Line S3 can be used as a substitute.
• Lines S8, S9: The S8 does not run between Offenbach Ostbahnhof and Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Substitute is line S9. In addition, both lines between Rüsselsheim and Bischofsheim will be dropped. Replacement buses will be deployed there. In addition, the travel times have changed.
