Russian troops withdraw from the north of the Donetsk region

Russian troops continue to transfer troops from the northern part of the Donetsk region to support defensive positions in southern Ukraine and may suspend the Slavic campaign for now.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky, said that two weeks ago, Russian troops withdrew tactical groups of the Airborne Forces from the Donetsk region and redeployed them to the occupied territories of the Kherson region.

The occupiers are also redeploying units of the Eastern Military District operating in Slavyansk to the south of Ukraine and transferring a large number of troops to the Crimea to prepare for the defense of the occupied Kherson and Zaporizhia regions from counter-offensives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The British Ministry of Defense also noted that Russian troops have likely identified the Zaporizhia region as a vulnerable front in need of strengthening.

Recall that the Ukrainian military over the past day liquidated another 200 Russians. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the army of the aggressor country has already lost about 41 thousand of its military.
