A dozen firefighters were injured Saturday in an explosion during a fire in downtown Los Angeles, we learned from an official source.
Some 230 firefighters were mobilized to control this fire in the district of Little Tokyo, in downtown Los Angeles, according to fire department spokesman Nicholas Prange. The fire was still not under control around 1:30 p.m., an hour after it started.
