In particular, the commander of Vostok, Lieutenant General Andrei Kuzmenko, reported on the progress in fulfilling the instructions of the head of the Ministry of Defense on the formation of UAV units.
He also informed about the tactics used by the group’s attack aircraft when capturing strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
And during a meeting at the command post, Shoigu heard reports from the heads of military branches and services on organizing counter-battery warfare.
Separately, he was informed about the readiness of the Vostok fighters to fight in the winter, as well as the level of provision of heating stoves and means for heating the soldiers.
The Minister paid special attention to the timely and full provision of all personnel of the group with new winter uniforms.
He also emphasized the need to create an additional supply of winter clothing and insulated shoes, the press service noted.
