Russia Upgrades Kh-22 and Oniks Missiles, Resumes Use of Bastion Systems

Russia has upgraded Kh-22 and Oniks missiles, and has also resumed the use of Bastion systems. About it in an interview said Vadim Skibitsky, a spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

The representative of the GUR claims that the Russians “carried out measures to modernize some missiles … The Kh-22, in fact, has already become the Kh-32, that is, it has gone through modernization.”

In addition, the GUR is aware of the plans and attempts of the invaders to modernize the Onyx missiles. “In the fall, they often fired them at the Mykolaiv, Odessa and Kherson regions, then there were many explosions, but no hits,” Skibitsky said.

Also, according to intelligence, the Russians have resumed using the upgraded Bastion complexes for launching Onyxes, which are designed to destroy naval targets, but the occupiers use them against civilian targets.
