Russia Plans Expansion of “Partial Evacuation” in Zaporozhye Region Amid Ukraine Conflict

Collaborator Vladimir Rogov said that the Russian Federation plans to expand the list of front-line settlements in the Zaporozhye region, which fell under partial evacuation.

“Now a partial evacuation is being carried out from a number of settlements that are located near the line of contact. People are being transported in an organized manner to the rear of the region. At the same time, not all settlements are on the list for partial evacuation, so I think it will be expanded,” Rogov said.

According to him, the announced partial evacuation of the population is one of the precautionary measures.

“This is not the abandonment of cities, but the desire to protect our citizens from shelling by Ukrainian militants,” Rogov said.

Recall that on May 5, the Gauleiter of the occupied part of the Zaporozhye region announced a partial “evacuation” of the population.

Later, Russia announced that they wanted to “resettle” about 70,000 people in the Zaporozhye region.
