Where will the jungle camp 2022 take place? The broadcaster RTL now has rumors around the cult show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” Took a stand. The show was produced in Australia before the corona pandemic and aired in January. RTL spokesman Claus Richter explained the current situation: “We are currently examining various options where ‘I’m a star – get me out of here!’ Can take place in 2022, South Africa and Australia are two of them. ”
In 2021, “I’m a star – get me out of here!” does not take place in Australia. Instead, there was a replacement show. The British version of the format, which usually shared the location in Australia with the German jungle camp, moved to Wales because of the pandemic. At the beginning of August it was announced that the new season would also be produced there. Gwrych Castle is once again used as a hostel for British celebrities. The Australian version of the show usually takes place in South Africa.
There are three candidates
In January 2021, RTL showed the replacement program “I am a star – The great jungle show”, in which a permanent participant for the coming season was sought. Ex- “Bachelorette” candidate Filip Pavlovic (27) secured the ticket for 2022. Singer Lucas Cordalis (54) and designer Harald Glööckler (56) are already certain candidates for the next jungle camp.
