Royal visit for star restaurant Boury (Roeselare)

Roeselare –

Star restaurant Boury from Roeselare received a royal visit on Thursday evening. King Filip and Queen Mathilde came to attend a gala evening of the West Flanders Support Council for the King Baudouin Foundation.

Every two years, the West Flanders Support Council organizes a gala evening for the King Baudouin Foundation at which top representatives from economic, social and political life are present. Two years ago it was in the Barco Center in Kortrijk, this year the honor fell to star chef Tim Boury and his team from Roeselare. The event required a lot of preparation, both for the chief and for the police. Residents from Rumbeeksesteenweg saw trucks arriving at the star shop this week and chic tents were set up. On Thursday evening, a lot of police were present to ensure the arrival of the royal couple on the right track. The proceeds from this gala evening will benefit projects from the region that previously received support from the King Baudouin Foundation.
