Rotterdam police have shot a suspect after a stabbing. Four people were injured in the accident, including a policeman.
After a complaint, the police went to a house on the Molenlaan in Rotterdam-Hillegersberg. A 53-year-old woman was stabbed there. A 44-year-old neighbor who rushed to the rescue suffered the same fate, reports the regional broadcaster Rijnmond.
When police arrived, the 19-year-old suspect also stabbed one of the officers. He was shot by a fellow officer and was seriously injured.
The cause of the stabbing incident is still unknown. The National Investigation Department is investigating the incident.
