Ron Jeremy appeared before the Los Angeles County Supreme Court at the next hearing. The legendary porn actor heard the charges of the district prosecutor’s office, which revealed that 25 more women had reported. Jeremy was supposed to commit sexual harassment against them and some raped. 13 out of 25 new allegations were expected to occur in Southern California.
On Tuesday, June 23, the first hearing took place, and three days later, another. The 67-year-old does not admit the charges he is accused of, for which he faces 90 years in prison, in practice life imprisonment. He is currently in custody, where he will wait for the next trial. This one is to take place on August 31, 2020. If Jeremy wanted to leave jail by then, the court would set a giant bail. Its amount is USD 6.6 million.
This is not the first time that an actor has been accused of committing sexual crimes. Jeremy had denied rape two years ago.
– These allegations are pure lies. I have never raped or intend to do so. All accusations were investigated by the police and rejected by the courts. I did not spend a single day in the courtroom for this reason – said the actor in 2017 in Rolling Stone magazine.
