An unexpected proposal was voiced by Roman Svitan, who called for placing more New Year trees in Ukraine.

The Christmas tree is not only a symbol of the New Year holidays, which has a beneficial effect on the war-weary psyche of Ukrainians, but also a way to protect the population of our country from missile attacks, said Roman Svitan. An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that people will still take to the streets of cities on holidays, and in order to avoid crowds of people in one place, it is important to take care of the presence of several New Year trees in each of our cities.

Roman Svitan’s proposal to install as many Christmas trees as possible in Ukrainian cities can be heard on the channel YouTube.

A 24 Channel journalist asked whether it would be dangerous to put up New Year trees, given that there would be a crowd of people there who would become a good target for the Russians.

The military expert disagreed with this statement and explained something important: “The New Year tree is a symbol. There are symbols, without which it is much more difficult for the human psyche to survive the problems that have now befallen us, because the more trees there are, the better”.

“Remember the main task? Dispersal. How to avoid blows? Dispersal. Put up more than just one, put up 101 Christmas trees in the city. Place Christmas trees in all cities, and the more, the better. If the Christmas trees are put up by patrons, then even better. The only thing is that you need to take measures and not overdo it, of course. There will be fewer people in dispersal mode at each point. Secondly, they will have enough time if the alarm goes off,” Roman Svitan spoke in more detail about his idea.
