The technology developed by Tesla for autonomous driving and assistance for those who get behind the wheel is certainly not without flaws and still today has significant room for improvement, but it can already prove useful to avoid accidents and save lives.
It happened in Italy, when the driver – who then shared the video on Facebook – avoided a certain impact when a car arrived in the opposite direction: the avoidance maneuver was evaluated by Autopilot which helped him to maintain car in the carriageway making the most of the spaces actually available on both sides.
The incident is reported in the video, captured by the cameras on board the vehicle e shared by the owner Mauro Gentile.
