A young woman was sexually assaulted and robbed at knifepoint in the building where she works in Brooklyn (NYC).
The attacker approached the 28-year-old victim at the commercial building near 59th St. and Eighth Ave. in Sunset Park around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
He forced her into the hallway bathroom, pulled out a knife and told him, “Get on your knees,” police said. Then he forced her to perform oral sex, stole money and property from her business and ran away from her, he said. Daily News.
Police on Wednesday released surveillance images of the suspect, who was dressed all in black, and are asking the public for help in identifying and locating him. He is described as light-skinned, approximately 25 years old and 5ft 6in tall with a small build.

In a similar case, a Hispanic man with an extensive police record was arrested again, this time on suspicion of groping three young women and separately threatening a 7-Eleven employee with a knife and a metal pipe, in Queens (NYC).
In September, a 52-year-old woman experienced a nightmare when she was jogging in a Brooklyn park and was robbed and beaten by a young cyclist armed with a knife who also tried to rape her.
At the end of August, a walker prevented the sexual abuse of a woman in the middle of a Brooklyn street, where the suspect also fled. In July, a Hispanic man was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a young woman in broad daylight on a street in Queens (NYC).
In late April, another Latino was caught on suspicion of suffocating a 68-year-old woman before dragging her to a garage and sexually assaulting her on a street in The Bronx (NYC).
In March, a woman was sexually abused and beaten near Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn (NYC). Also earlier that month, a felon with a criminal record was sentenced to 20 years in prison for raping a Brooklyn grandmother multiple times while he held a Bible he left at the scene before fleeing.
In March, another registered sex offender who was on parole was sentenced to 37 years to life in prison for the brutal assault and rape of a Korean visitor on a sidewalk in Koreatown, Manhattan in 2021.
And in September 2022, a man who offered to help a tourist through the complex New York Subway system took her to the end of the Port Authority station platform in Manhattan and raped her, the NYPD reported.
