Reward for a report card? The village near Česká Lípa distributed thousands to the pupils!

Children will receive certificates and monetary donations in Vísecká rychta – the largest timbered building in the Czech Republic. Who wouldn’t rejoice if he still gets a decent amount for a certificate. However, there are two conditions that a pupil must meet during the entire nine years spent in primary school.

“They must not have a reduced grade for behavior and they must not be dealt with by the police, because it would postpone it. The benefit does not play a role there. Every child is some kind of. calculated by the mayor Vít Vomáček.

Each child who starts a local school receives 150 crowns a month from the municipality on a virtual account. And at the end of the 9th grade, the whole amount at once. This year there were four children.

And future students already know what to do with them. “I’ll buy a textbook for it. And I’ll keep saving,” promises Jaroslav Lachman. Not everyone will succeed. For example, when one of the pupils there collected chocolate in a department store and the theft was solved by the police, she lost money. And suddenly it was the most expensive chocolate in Central Europe.

The village with eight hundred inhabitants in the past was famous for many special fads. For example, when she started publishing the names of thieves and won a dispute with the data protection authority. Or an inscription reminiscent of the famous Hollywood.
