NEW YORK — Authorities are searching for the suspects in forcing their way into a Bronx apartment, stabbing the resident and stealing $160,000 from her that was inside a safe, New York City Police announced.
According to the police report, the event occurred on Thursday, March 23, at around 10:00 pm, inside a residential building located at 547 East 168 Street. It was at that moment that the two alleged thieves entered the apartment, and one of them pulled out a firearm-
The other suspect then produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim, a 30-year-old woman, in the arm before stealing her cell phone and a safe containing about $160,000.
The woman was taken by paramedics to the hospital in stable condition.
