The Unterhofen kindergarten was built in 1967 and last renovated in the 1990s. The hot and cold water pipes as well as the sanitary facilities of the kindergarten have to be replaced, the municipality writes in its communication.
All hot and cold water pipes from the water meter to the point of consumption will be replaced. The boiler from 1992 is replaced by a heat pump boiler. Toilets, dividing walls and a small washbasin are replaced one-to-one and the floor and walls are re-clad with panels. The waste water pipes of the three toilets are renewed up to the downpipe.
A loan of CHF 58,000 was approved for the renovation of the sanitary facilities and pipes.
