This May, the queen of rock’n’roll, the unique Tina Turner, died. She was 83 years old and had struggled with major health issues over the years – bowel cancer, stroke and high blood pressure. The last years she lived in Switzerland with her husband, who donated a kidney to her. She became famous in the seventies when she performed with her first husband, Ike Turner, but he made her life hell.

His most famous role was as the sarcastic prankster Chandler Bing on the iconic series Friends. He died in his home, drowned in a hot tub. Recently, the cause of death was also revealed, which was the use of the drug ketamine, which he took to relieve anxiety and depression. He struggled with various addictions throughout his life, mainly alcohol and painkillers, but the autopsy report confirmed that he had been abstinent for 19 months. Who doesn’t know her Shoes Against Love, I Like Bob or Teardrop? She also worked in the Semafor theater and achieved success outside Czechoslovakia, especially in Great Britain. After signing the Two Thousand Words manifesto, she emigrated to Germany, where she worked as a flight attendant. She returned to her native land after the Velvet Revolution.
