This sale is a transfer to PT Plaza Indonesia Investama, which is special purpose company from the Real Estate Investment Fund (REIT) issued by the company.
The DIRE is a Real Estate Investment Fund (DIRE) in the form of a Simas Plaza Indonesia Collective Investment Contract.
According to data on information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), it is stated that the direct transfer of shares belonging to Rosano is as much as 43,081,600 shares or 1.21% of the total issued and fully paid shares in PLIN.
Meanwhile, indirectly through PT Rizki Bukit Abadi a total of 1,135,000 shares or 0.03% of all issued and fully paid shares in the company.
Thus the share of Rosano, who is also the artist’s father-in-law, becomes 0% from before the transfer, which reached 44,216,600 shares or 1.24% of the total issued and paid-up shares of the company.
The release of these shares was carried out at a price of Rp 3,740 / share so that the total value obtained by Rosano Barack’s father from this transaction reached Rp. 165.37 billion.
So who actually owns the shares in Plaza Indonesia?
Financial report data for June 2020 shows, Plaza Indonesia Investama is the controller of PLIN with ownership reaching 3,385,457,530 shares or 95.37%, then public investors 4.23%.
It’s just that there is no information that explains the details of the last owner of Plaza Indonesia Investama.
However, the PLIN official website notes that the President Commissioner of PLIN, Franky Oesman Widjaja, the second generation of tycoon Eka Tjipta Widjaja (founder of the Sinarmas Group), is also the President Commissioner of Plaza Indonesia Investama.
In addition, Rosano Barack is also the President Director of Plaza Indonesia Investama, as revealed on the PLIN website.
Rosano has served as Director of PLIN since 1983 and has served as President Director of PLIN since April 30, 1998. Franky has also served as President Commissioner of PT SMART Tbk since 2003, Director of Sinarmas Land Ltd since 1997, Executive Chairman of Sinarmas Land Ltd since late 2006, President Commissioner of PT Dian Swastika Sentosa Tbk since 2011, Commissioner of PT Plaza Indonesia Jababeka since 2013, and President Commissioner of Plaza Indonesia Investama.
Plaza Indonesia Realty was established on November 5, 1983 and started commercial operations in March 1990. The Company is the owner of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta (Hotel), Plaza Indonesia Shopping Center and The Plaza (office building).
In addition to the President Commissioner being held by Franky Widjaja, there is the name of the former General Sintong Panjaitan as an independent commissioner. Sintong is a former Chief of Expert Staff to the Armed Forces Commander at ABRI Headquarters (1993) and a former Kopassus Commander (1985).

Underlying asset The DIRE is 95.37% shares of PLIN and 100% shares of PT Sarana Mitra Investama, which owns shares in PT Plaza Lifestyle Prima, the manager of the FX Sudirman mall.
The total number of DIRE participation units with the XSPI code is 20.80 billion units with an initial value of IDR 500 / unit with a yield of 6-8% per year.
