Esslingen – surprise on the third day of the trial before the Stuttgart regional court. The accused had so far remained silent on the allegations, but now he had his defense lawyer read out a statement. In this statement, the Ostfildern-born man made a comprehensive confession: Yes, in November 2019 he shot around with a blank gun in an apartment building in Esslingen. Yes, he later kicked the door of one of the house residents down. And yes, he attacked and injured two police officers with a knife. The young man also has his lawyer announced: “I didn’t want to hurt anyone.”
