At two online events, the regional association Frankfurt Rhein Main provides information on the status of the planning for two important cycle superhighways through the Offenbach district.

On Tuesday, March 30th, according to the regional association, the FRM9 high-speed cycle route will be the topic from 6 p.m., which will connect Seligenstadt, Rodgau, Dietzenbach, Dreieich, Neu-Isenburg and the airport.

Also from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st, the FRM8 expressway, which cyclists will be able to use to commute between Frankfurt, Offenbach, Mühlheim and Hanau in the future, will take place. According to the announcement, the aim of both information evenings is to explain the objectives and the procedure for the feasibility studies for the new cycle superhighways. Answers are provided by Rouven Kötter (SPD), Head of Mobility and First Alderman of the regional association, as well as the bicycle traffic officer Antje Quitta. According to the announcement, planners from the contracted companies Inovaplan and PGV will also be there. “We want to explain what distinguishes a cycle expressway and find out what the expert planners’ impression of the space is,” says Kötter, referring to the appointment.
