Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C Launch, These are Specifications and Prices

Overtake Redmi 9 on display earlier this month, Xiaomi officially launch Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C today in Malaysia. These two entry level phones are the first to use the Helio G25 and Helio G35 chipsets which also just launched by MediaTek.

Quoted detikINET from Gizmochina, Tuesday (6/30/2020) Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C both use a 6.53 inch IPS LCD panel equipped with a water drop notch. Both carry a resolution of 720×1600 pixels with a ratio of 20: 9.

Both use the 5,000 mAh battery. Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C only have one RAM and ROM configuration variant, 2 GB and 32 GB, with a microSD slot.

The difference between the two is visible in the chipset used and the camera. Redmi 9A is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, while the Redmi 9C uses the MediaTek Helio G35.

Redmi 9A only has one 13 MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. On the other hand, Redmi 9C has three rear cameras consisting of 13 MP main camera, 5 MP ultrawide lens and 2 MP depth sensor. To take a selfie, they both have a 5 MP front camera.

Redmi 9A is not equipped with a fingerprint sensor. While Redmi 9C has a fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the body.

Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C also carry complementary features such as dual SIM slots, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Both are gliding with the Android operating system 10 wrapped in MIUI 11.

Redmi 9A comes with a choice of colors Midnight Gray, Twilight Blue and Peacock Green. This phone can be ordered starting in Malaysia on 7 July with a price of 359 Ringgit or around Rp 1.2 million.

While the Redmi 9C comes in a choice of orange, black and blue colors. This phone will be present in Malaysia at the end of July at a price of 429 Ringgit (Rp. 1.4 million).
