The American medium CNBCI report that in a virtual press conference, Maria Van Kerkhove of the WHO explained that the virus could remain longer in medical facilities. “When you do an aerosolization procedure like in a healthcare facility, you have the possibility of what we call aerosolizing those particles,” he added.
Therefore, he stressed that health professionals must take additional measures when performing these processes.
