Suara.com – Realme has just released two new smartphones in Indonesia, Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro, Wednesday (7/4/2021). Realme 8 Pro adds to the long list of smartphones with 108 MP cameras in Indonesia.
“Realme 8 Pro is Realme’s first smartphone with a 108 MP camera, the highest camera resolution in the smartphone industry today,” said Realme Indonesia’s Marketing Director, Palson Yi, during a question and answer session for the Realme 8 Series.
Currently, the Indonesian market is already busy with smartphones with 108 MP cameras. The latest is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 as a mid-range cellphone. For the flagship class, there are the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Xiaomi Mi 11.
Even though there are already many cellphones that carry 108 MP cameras, Realme doesn’t bother. Palson Yi revealed that Realme still has its own way of competing with brands that also carry a 108 MP camera.
“Realme has a strategy to present a 108 MP smartphone camera. We bring features that can make users creative without limits,” he explained in the Realme 8 series question and answer session, Wednesday (7/4/2021).
He explained that the excellent features brought by the Realme 8 Pro are Tilt-Shift Time-Lapse Video and Trendy Portrait. These two features can be the creation of young people who like photography with smartphones.
In line with Palson Yi, PR Manager for Realme Indonesia Krisva Angnieszca said that his party wanted to invite the Indonesian people to be creative with the 108 MP camera on Realme 8 Pro, especially young people who are the market share of Realme.
“Yesterday we had the chance to socialize the results of the 108 MP camera on the Realme 8 Pro. The creators made collaborative photos between Indonesian scenery and culture. So, not only one, but both,” Krisva said when asked about Realme’s strategy with the 108 MP camera.
“We are also working with photographers to carry out this strategy. Last week we managed to set a MURI record, where the 108 MP Realme 8 Pro camera was printed at a giant size at Gelora Bung Karno,” he concluded.
