The Belarusian army in 2023 fell to 60th place.
In the global ranking of military power Global Firepower Index, compiled by the analyst firm Global Firepower, experts place Belarus in 60th place among 145 countries of the world.

The Belarusian army turned out to be 8 points lower than last year, when it occupied the 52nd line. However, since its appearance in the rankings, the military of the satellite country of the Russian Federation has not yet fallen that low. Since 2014, it has ranked from 39 (in 2019) to 53 (in 2020).
Currently, Belarus’ neighbors in the world ranking are Azerbaijan, Serbia, Bulgaria, located above, and Morocco, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which have different, according to experts, weaker armies.
Among European countries, Belarus was ranked 20th out of 37 this year, ahead of Slovakia, Austria, Ireland and losing to all the leading countries, plus the Czech Republic, Finland and Hungary.
Recall that Ukraine is in this ranking it is ranked 15th in the world and 4th in Europe.
