Versions with a sports body kit, darkened headlights and a black radiator grille have been in the range of the current generation before, however, the TRX modification, in addition to increased wheel arches and ground clearance, can also be identified by the hood with a large functional air intake. Underbody protection is installed that covers the front axle, transfer case, fuel tank and transmission case.

The differences from the original pickup continue in the interior. The Ram 1500 TRX has a classic automatic lever in place of a washer, a trimmed rim steering wheel with aluminum gearshift paddles, upholstery with optional red stitching, and optional CFRP inserts. In addition, a launch control function has appeared for the most efficient start.

In the US, prices for the new Ram 1500 TRX start at $ 70,000 excluding shipping. The Ford F-150 Raptor is much cheaper, starting at $ 53,500. Acceptance of orders has already begun, the start of deliveries to customers is scheduled for the end of the year.
