Putin’s Revenge! Insane attacks, Ukraine is dark

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, risks being shrouded in darkness for a long time. This is due to a Russian attack on the country’s energy plants that hindered the supply of electricity.

Local energy supplier Yasno has warned that existing blackouts could last longer than the previously planned four-hour blackout program. The agency said the capital was already facing an electricity deficit of around 30% or more.

In his update, Yasno said that Kiev usually consumes 1,000-2,000 Mega Watts (MW) of electricity. But now the estimated available power is 600-800 MW.

“Warning that the lightning was severe. We are experiencing a sharp decline in the energy supply situation,” the agency said. The GuardianFriday (10/28/2022).

The same said the governor of the Kiev region, Oleksiy Kuleba. He explained that Kiev was the victim of a Russian attack on the Ukrainian national network and that a number of important structures were decommissioned.

Russia has undermined Ukraine’s electricity system in less than two weeks by shifting the focus of missile attacks and drone to energy production and distribution networks.

This follows the decline of Russian troops in several areas of Ukraine in recent times.

President Volodymyr Zelensky previously estimated that 30% of Ukraine’s power plants had been damaged or destroyed. But now the figure is expected to be even higher.

Gas and water supplies were also targeted in the series of attacks that began on 10 October. Attacks cause problems that in some cases will take years to resolve.

“Energy consumption is now needed by all Ukrainians. Choose your scheme to limit electricity consumption while there is a shortage in the general electricity system,” added the president.
