Protocols were not enough in Fatima case: FGJ


The head of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City offered a press conference on the Fatima case.

The head of the Attorney General of Mexico City (FGJ), Ernestina Godoy, said that the search protocols were met, but were not enough to find the girl Fatima Cecilia alive.

At a press conference, Godoy Ramos recalled that he instructed the dependency visit to conduct a thorough investigation of the case.

“From Wednesday, the date on which Fatima’s family raised the complaint, the investigation folder was initiated, the Amber Alert was activated and the search protocol was activated.”

He explained that five people are witnesses and so far there are no detainees.

He informed that he will have a videoconference to streamline the Amber Alert worldwide.
