The development cooperation project “Promoting sustainable development, reducing economic vulnerability and gender inequality in the communities of San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic”, funded by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, continues with its activities.
One of the most significant, the celebration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, promoted by ASCALA, local partner of the Cáritas Diocesana Sigüenza-Guadalajara, aims to give visibility, raise awareness among the Dominican population and ask for access to women’s rights.
