Russia released the installation of ICBMs, Yars, in the Kaluga region after the United States intends to send Patriot systems to UkraineWednesday (14/12).

The Russian Defense Ministry has released a video containing the missile installation ahead of Strategic Forces Day.

In the video you can see Moscow troops loading Yars onto launchers in the Kaluga region.

“An ICBM of the Yars type has been loaded into a silo launcher at the Kozelsky missile formation in the Kaluga region,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. Cnn.

The commander of the Kozelsky missile formation, Alexei Sokolov, outlined the goals of the operation.

“The significance of this operation lies in the fact that the missile will perform its combat duty as intended,” Sokolov said.

He then said: “The Motherland will receive another sample of a nuclear missile weapon, which will allow us to solve any task at the strategic level.”

The installation of Russian ICBMs came after the United States was reportedly finalizing a proposal to send aid to Ukraine in the form of a Patriot defense system.

The aid proposal was submitted by the United States Department of Defense (DoD), and must receive the approval of Lloyd Austin as Secretary of Defense.

According to three Washington officials, after obtaining Austin’s approval, the proposal was presented to US President Joe Biden.

After receiving approval from Biden, the Patriots will reportedly ship in the next few days.

The Patriot is considered one of the most advanced aircraft systems and is capable of intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and some aircraft.
