Prof. Rachev warned about an invading “curly” cyclone and how much it will rain on the May holidays

Today, in some areas, eggs are being scattered between girls and boys. This protects against hail. Yesterday there were single places where a little hail fell. There will be a little more today. This is what the meteorologist Prof. Georgi Rachev told bTV.

The atmosphere over Bulgaria will be unstable and this will continue until Thursday.

According to him, then comes a cold front, “which is curly, with a wave character”, will allow Bulgaria to invade the fresh ocean air with lower temperatures. The reason for this is a cyclone centered in Britain.

“The temperatures will not drop very low,” assured Prof. Rachev.

In Southern Bulgaria and around the mountains the probability of developing heavy cumulonimbus clouds is high. Maximum temperature for Sofia up to 15 degrees.

For Saturday and Sunday, the meteorologist predicted good and warming weather. There will also be rain around May 1, but there will be fewer places than this week.

There will be thunderstorms after May 1, with short-term precipitation. The precipitation is spotty because it will really be a cloud. Yesterday there were such cases. The cloud affects a strip of several kilometers. In other places there is absolutely nothing and the sun is shining “Saturday and Sunday the weather will be better,” he said.

“From May 2, the same time awaits us – in the morning very fresh and pleasant, in the afternoon – rain. It depends on how the cloud will target you, “said Prof. Rachev.

It is not summer because the temperatures are still relatively low in the morning, the meteorologist said.
