The doctors on the first line against the coronavirus were not paid the additional BGN 1,000 for May.
This became clear from a short and angry question on Facebook of the head of the largest emergency hospital in Bulgaria “Pirogov” Prof. Asen Baltov.
“Ministry of Health, where is the money for the front line?”, The professor addressed the Ministry of Health.
The ensuing reactions further angered the professor, and he erupted in a subsequent comment: “600 people on the front line! I will read your posts to them tomorrow!”
