During the pandemic, the Latvian team of “Printful” “Draugiem Group” company almost doubled, reaching 560 people. In preparation for the lifting of restrictions, the company has started to set up its newest office in a newly renovated building at the intersection of Raina Boulevard and Krišjāņa Barona Street.

“We have been working remotely for more than a year now. 92% of the Printful team expressed a wish to return to the office in full or in part after the restrictions were lifted. However, due to the rapidly growing number of employees, additional jobs are needed for development. In Cēsis, we are setting up an office in the very center of the city, which will allow a large number of colleagues to work closer to their place of residence,

The newest “Printful” office is located at 25 Rainis Boulevard. The building was built in 1972 according to the design of architect Olgerts Ostenbergs. This year, an extensive renovation of the building, designed by Italian architect Adriano Castiglioni, has been completed. The new office has 7 floors and more than 3000 m2 the area will be equipped with more than 200 ergonomic workplaces, meeting and common areas, a café for employees, as well as 400 m2 large roof terrace. The office is located close to the Riga Central Railway Station, the International Bus Station and other important public transport hubs.

“The existing” Printful “offices are located in a green environment, so here too we will install a green and well-maintained outdoor space in front of the building. This is how we want to participate in the development of Riga as a people-friendly city,” says Siksnāns.

The interior of the office is designed according to the principles of environmental accessibility – an elevator, low thresholds and wheelchair accessible sanitary facilities. The building is maximally adapted to energy efficiency requirements – the premises are equipped with the latest generation centralized drinking water system, powerful air recovery equipment, UVC lamps and ozone generators, which limit the risks of viruses and allergens. As in other “Printful” offices, bicycle storage and charging points for electric cars will be available at 25 Raina Boulevard. The premises are long-term rented from the real estate investor and manager “Baltic RE Group AS”.

“We really wanted this building to serve as an example of sustainability and a pleasant and creative environment for new ideas in the workplace. In collaboration with Printful, we have found a common understanding of the above values, resulting in an innovative building that is both natural and people-friendly, “said Giovanni dalla Dzonka, founder and CEO of Baltic RE Group (Giovanni dalla Zonca).

Printful is a printing and sewing outsourcing company that automatically receives, manufactures and delivers orders on behalf of online stores. “Printful” offices in Riga, Cesis and production facilities in Marupe employ more than 560 professionals. The Printful team employs more than 1,600 people worldwide.
