President Zelensky Calls for “Neutralizing” Illegally Built Crimean Bridge

President Vladimir Zelensky announced the need to “neutralize” the Crimean bridge illegally built by the Russians, which had recently been attacked. About this he said speaking via video link at the Aspen Security Forum.

Zelensky stressed that the bridge connecting Russia with Crimea serves as a “lifeline” for Russia to wage war against Ukraine, therefore this object must be “neutralized”.

He noted that the Crimean bridge is not just a logistical road, it is a road that Russia uses daily to supply ammunition to the occupiers.

Zelensky called the Crimean bridge “an enemy facility built outside of international laws and all applicable norms.”

“Therefore, it is clear that this is our goal. Any goal that brings war, not peace, must be neutralized,” the president said.

He also once again stressed that the goal of Ukraine is to liberate all territories from the Russians, including Crimea.
