China’s telecommunications equipment maker Huawei’s latest foldable smartphone “Pocket S” was pre-ordered in Chinese online shopping malls such as JD and Suning ahead of the official announcement, foreign media reported on the 26th (local time).
The Pocket S is Huawei’s second foldable phone after the P50 Pocket announced in December last year. The design is the same as the original model and the mid-range Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset is expected to be installed in place of the Snapdragon 888 4G.
According to previous reports, the Pocket S price is expected to start at 4999 yuan (about 980,000 won) for the 256GB version. Huawei will hold an event in China on November 2nd and will officially announce the “Pocket S”.
