Two men became unwell on the Pieter Calandlaan in Amsterdam on Thursday. The police found a possible drug lab there and evacuated eight homes as a precaution.
A report was made around 6 p.m. The police then cordoned off part of the street and a block of houses in the Nieuw-West district of Amsterdam, writes AT5.
“We suspect that it is a drug lab that may contain substances that are bad for health,” a police spokesperson told NU.nl.
Whether it is actually a drug lab and what kind of substances it is, is still being investigated.
The pair have been taken to hospital.
