Teacher Tengku Zulkarnain tested positive for Corona or COVID-19. He was treated at Tabrani Hospital Pekanbaru, Riau, since May 2.
“He entered our hospital on May 2. We are obliged to be handled by anyone who enters. That is clear as the governor’s order, we are the hospital designated as a referral hospital. We do our best to be treated,” said Director of Corporate Communications at Tabrani Hospital, Ian Machyar, told reporters, Monday (10/5/2021).
He said Tengku Zulkarnain in a stable condition when you first entered the hospital. According to him, Tengku Zulkarnain did not have other diseases.
“When he entered, his condition was positive, his health was stable. There were no other illnesses,” he said.
Tengku Zulkarnain was allegedly exposed to COVID after undergoing swab PCR at Tabrani Hospital. At that time, he planned to return to Medan, North Sumatra.
“He plans to return to Medan the next day. Found out positive because swab want to go back to Medan. So swab for travel, “said Ian.
Ian said that Tengku Zulkarnain’s health was in a stable condition. Tengku Zulkarnain was treated in the ICU.
“Now it is under the supervision of an authorized doctor. He is being treated in the ICU and we continue to monitor it. There are no comorbidities, only positive,” said Ian.
“The family is here from Medan and Pekanbaru, so the only positive ones are themselves. What needs to be underlined, entering May 2, not May 6. Not breaking homecoming, because going home on May 6 is prohibited. This is the 8th day of May being treated,” he said. again.
